2015 ASPA Conference in Chicago, USA: MOU and Presentations in March of 2015
The President of the Asian Association for Public Administration (AAPA), Professor Pan Suk Kim, and the President of the Network of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration in Central and Eastern Europe (NISPAcee), Professor Marius Profiroiu, signed the MOU at Hyatt Regency Hotel in Chicago on March 7th, 2015. A number of Central and Eastern European professors participated in the ASPA meeting. They include: Marius Profiroiu (NISPAcee President; Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Bucharest, Romania), Calin Emilian Hintea (Babes Bolyai University, Cluj Napoca, Romania), Gyorgy Hajnal (Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary), Polya Katsamunska (University of National and World Economy, Sofia, Bulgaria), Tiina Randma-Liiv (Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia), and others.
Professor Kim participated in an ASPA’s Panel on Studies in Comparative Public Administration. He also joined the Fred Riggs Symposium on Public Administration, Poverty Alleviation, and Constitutionally Democratic Governance at Hyatt Regency Hotel in Chicago on March 6th, 2015. Symposium participants include: Rolet Loretan (IIAS), Allan Rosenbaum (ASPA President), Jeanne-Marie Col (City University of New York), Demetrios Argyriades (former UN expert), and others.
