  • MOU between AAPA and the Indian Public Administration Association (IPAA)

    The President of the Asian Association for Public Administration (AAPA), Professor Pan Suk Kim, and the President of the Indian Public Administration Association (IPAA), Professor Ajmer Singh Malik, signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for collaborative activities between two associations on March 11, 2015.IPAA President, Professor Ajmer Singh Malik is a Professor of Public Administration in the Faculty of Social Sciences at Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, Haryana, India. The Annual Conference of the Indian Public Administration Association (IPAA) was held at the Haryana Institute of Rural Development, Nilokheri, Haryana on 20-21, December 2014. Prof. Ajmer Singh Malik was elected by the General Body on 21st December 2014.

  • MOU between AAPA and NISPAcee

    The President of the Asian Association for Public Administration (AAPA), Professor Pan Suk Kim, and the President of the Network of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration in Central and Eastern Europe (NISPAcee), Professor Marius Profiroiu, signed the MOU in Chicago on March 7th, 2015.The Network of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration in Central and Eastern Europe (NISPAcee: www.nispa.org) was established in 1994 as an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization focused on the public administration challenges facing Central and Eastern European countries. http://www.nispa.org/page.php?sid=1318Incumbent NISPAcee President is Professor Marius Profiroiu who is working at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Bucharest, Romania. Based on the MOU they signed, both organizations will promote more collaborative activities in the near future.

  • MOU between AAPA and the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA)

    On January 16, 2015, AAPA President, Professor Pan Suk Kim, and RANEPA Rector, Professor Vladimir Mau, signed the MOU for further collaboration between two institutes. RANEPA’s Moscow campus includes 21 schools and departments (http://www.ranepa.ru).Many RANEPA students engage in various forms of education and training, including in the Moscow main campus and 63 satellite campuses in 55 regions of the Russian Federation.The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) is the largest public administration institution in the world in terms of the size of its faculty and students.During the 2015 Gaidar Forum (http://www.gaidarforum.ru/eng) held at RANEPA in Moscow, AAPA President Pan Suk Kim delivered a keynote speech on civil service reform.

  • MOU between AAPA and 3 National PA Associations (Indonesia, Philippines, and Thailand)

    Networking and CollaborationThe Asian Association for Public Administration (AAPA), as an international non-profit organization, aims to spread its links wider and work with various partner organizations in Asia and the rest of the world for the development of public administration. AAPA works closely with public administration associations, research institutions, and/or educational/training institutions at all levels through the exchange of the memorandum of understanding (MOU). A memorandum of understanding (MOU) describes a bilateral or multilateral agreement between two or more parties and it expresses a strong will between the parties, indicating an intended common line of collaborative action for mutual benefits and sustainable development.
